We think these oils can make any vacation better. We highly recommend that you pack them and use them generously!
Thieves Essential oil
The Thieves Oil is a blend of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary. It is antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-infectious. Use it in a diffuser to clean the air and use it diluted in water to clean surfaces, hands or pet fur. Spar a bit in your mask before putting it on during this global coronavirus pandemic to reduce bacteria caused by your breach and to de-odorize the material. Thieves cleaner is made of Thieves oil blend.
Citronella Essential Oil
Citronella Oil has many uses, but the best use for vacations is to use it as an insect repellent. Simply place a drop or two on your shoulders, even on the sleeve of a shirt, and on wrists. We have had amazing results with keeping mosquitoes and noseeums away with this oil, using it in this way. Using 8 – 10 drops in a diffuser inside or outside works too.
Lemon Essential Oil
Lemon is a powerful oil with incredible and varied uses from skin care to flavoring water. However, for vacations, lemon’s top two uses are for cleansing hands and tools of any smell but especially fishy smells and for hydration. Adding lemon to your drinking water is flavorful and healthy and keeps you hydrated fully.
Peppermint Essential Oil
Peppermint oil is another terrific vacation tool. If I apply a few drops to my wrists and temples, most of my headaches dissipate and disappear. Peppermint also aids in digestive discomfort. Add a few drops to hot or cold water to sooth the stomach and aid in digestion.
Manuka Essential Oil
Apply Manuka oil to mild sunburns, cold sores, insect bites, and sore muscles. It can also be used as a sleep aid. Perfect for vacation wellness.
Note: there are so many essential oils to use on vacation that can enhance your wellness and experience. These are our top 5. However, when we travel, I usually take 10 to 20 different oils. I like to be prepared and you cannot run down to the drugstore or grocery store to buys these amazing oils. So, yes, I travel with oils!!!
